The Annual Old Campbell County Homecoming will be held Saturday, October 3, 2009
Once again the Old Campbell County Historical Society is pleased to announce the annual Old Campbell County Homecoming! Visitors will browse the marketplace on the front lawn of the Courthouse where they will find a wide variety of handmade items for sale and children's activities to delight the kids! The "Merchants Raffle" is your opportunity to support OCCHS by purchasing a ticket. You just might win one of the valuable prizes donated by our local merchants and businesses. Bring a chair and enjoy the music and song provided by our own local talent. Performers will entertain throughout the day on the big stage. Come hungry! Food vendors will tempt you with mouth watering choices such as fried pies, fried green tomatoes, barbecue, burgers and fries and homemade ice-cream. Special this year OCCHS is sponsoring the "Ultimate High School Class Reunion". If you graduated from Campbell High School, any year,or Fairburn High School, you are invited to participate. Reconnect with your classmates at OCCHS Homecoming this year and plan to have a car or float in the parade! Take a trip down memory lane and view the many pictures, annuals, trophies, ect. from your High School Days on display in the Courthouse. Vendor Participation Information
Anyone interested in securing a vendors booth should contact Gloria Thomas (770)964-3156 or Nancy Cornell (770)548-9181. We are no longer taking applications for Food Vendors. We have extended the deadline until Sept. 18, for Art/Craft and Children's Activities applications, but space is limited. Please note that we do not take applications from businesses or organizations that want to distribute informational materials.
